zum Thema: Applied Research for a New Europe, Contribution of R&D to Strengthening the Links between Science and Industry in South Eastern Europe

 

South Eastern Europe is marked by a wealth of university and nonuniversity research institutions, but there is also potential for improvement in the cooperation between research and industry. Against this backdrop, the challenge is to motivate non-university research institutions in the region to further strengthen their cooperation with companies within the framework of R & D projects.

This workshop shall contribute to a better understanding of the role of R & D organisations in strengthening the links between science and industry in South Eastern Europe. It aims to provide a structured framework in which non-university research institutions from South Eastern Europe can share their experiences in topics related to science– industry links.
